Calling all Atlanta beer lovers!

If you like beer, and we’re pretty sure many of do, you’ll LOVE the Atlanta Winter Beer Fest happening this Saturday, January 28 at The Masquerade (695 North Avenue – about a mile from the Shops at Highland Walk) from 3pm to 8pm.

So what does the Atlanta Winter Beer Fest entail, you might ask?  How about 100+ beers from local brewers including Monday Night Brewing and Wild Heaven Craft Beers, as well as breweries throughout the country, plus food from US Café, The Pup Truck, The Fry Guy and Baby Tommy’s New York Pizza, and live music on four stages.  Not bad for $35 tickets in advance, $45 on the day of the event (food is extra).   The event is being put on by the same folks who bring us the Great Atlanta Beer Fest and the Atlanta Summer Beer Fest so you know it will be a good time.   Oh, and the forecast is calling for another unseasonably warm, sunny January day (though the festival will take place inside and under tents if things change).

To top it off, and because the beer-loving friends who bring us the Beer Fest are always looking out for us, they have just unveiled via their Facebook page the festival t-shirt that will be available for sale at the event (and might just change your life).  This is no ordinary t-shirt.  Sure, it has a head hole and two arm holes, but you know what else it has?   How about a built in bottle-opener?!?!?!?  Oh yeah.  Just plain genius if you ask us.

"Can't wait until Saturday to enjoy that glass of brewed goodness?  Come by Hill Street Tavern at the Pencil Factory Flats & Shops today (Thursday 1-26) for $3 pints all day and night."
