GSU’s Robinson College of Business: An Intown Jewel
Almost 2 months ago, Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business was ranked among the top schools in multiple categories in the 2011 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” published annually by U.S. News and World Report. Georgia State University is an important part of intown Atlanta life, and its business school is located on Broad Street less than a mile from the Pencil Factory Flats.
According to U.S. News and World Report, Robinson’s Department of Risk Management and Insurance is ranked 3rd in the nation, up from number 6 in the 2010 listings; the programs for Computer Information Systems and Real Estate remain ranked at 7 and 11 respectively, positions they have held since 2010. Robinson’s undergraduate program in business is 34th among U.S. public universities and 57th overall.
Earlier this year, U.S. News and World Report ranked the Robinson’s part-time MBA and specialized master’s programs in the top 8 percent of the 314 business schools nationwide.
