P’cheen is Turning 6!
Restaurants, they grow up so fast! Seems like just yesterday P’cheen opened its doors on N. Highland Ave., and here we are celebrating six great years!
To mark the special occasion, P’cheen International Bistro& Pub, located by Highland Walk, is inviting the community to enjoy the great food, drinks, music and friends that have allowed the restaurant to flourish. The celebration takes place this Saturday, November 19, starting at 7:00 p.m. P’cheen will provide free Palm Amber Ale from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and a food buffet featuring some of their most popular menu items from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
If you’re not familiar with P’cheen, the event provides a great opportunity to check out a truly unique Atlanta gastropub. The restaurant’s Facebook pagedescribes the Old Fourth Ward favorite as known for its “distinct local flare, extensive beer selection and award-winning international hybrid cuisine.” Menu selections include Sweet & Spicy Thai Wings, Bayou Chicken and Shrimp Skewers, and a Grass-Fed Angus-Portabello Burger mmmm....
The hot spot is also known for its ties to local artists and musicians. Accordingly, Saturday’s event will feature music from DJ Keiran, Mike Zarin and El Prez. DJ Keiran, who is also the restaurant’s General Manager, told me the event’s music would include a little something for everyone -- 70’s, 80’s, disco, soul, funk, R&B and rock – oh my!
He also reiterated that there is no cover charge for the party and told me to encourage guests to get there early as this annual birthday event always draws a crowd. Don't miss it!
