V-Day approacheth. If you tend to scramble at the last minute and bring your significant other a 12-count nugget from Chik-Fil-A and a teddy bear from the drugstore for Valentine's Day, you had better step your game up this year! • 4th and Swift (Poncey Highlands - 621 North Avenue NE) - Mon., Feb. 14: Valentine's Day five-course prix-fixe dinner of new takes on traditional comfort food.. $75 non- inclusive. Optional wine pairings offered for an additional $35/person, also non-inclusive.
• Atlanta Grill (Downtown - 181 Peachtree St. in the Ritz-Carlton) - Mon., Feb. 14: Valentine's Day custom five course prix-fixe dinner at this steak and seafood standby. $79 per person, featuring "his & her cocktails".
• H. Harper Station (Reynoldstown - 904 Memorial Dr.) - Mon., Feb. 14: Serving a three-course prix-fixe Valentine’s Day menu. $40 per person, not including the price you'll want to pay for some of the best cocktails on this side of the city!
• The Livingston Restaurant & Bar (Lower Midtown - 659 Peachtree St.) - Mon., Feb. 14: Valentine's Day three-course prix-fixe menu of elegant classics. $55 per person, including a complimentary glass of champagne paired with your choice of dessert.
• Pacci Ristorante (Midtown - 866 West Peachtree St.) - Thurs., Feb. 10 6-9 PM: Queen of Hearts Valentine's Day Social. Drink specials and complimentary appetizers will be served alongside tarot card readings, a raffle, and an opportunity to pose relationship questions to columnist Blane Bachelor.
• Parks Edge (Inman Park - 913 Bernina Ave.) - Fri. Feb. 11 - Mon. Feb. 14: Serving a special Valentine's Day four-course prix-fixe menu of contemporary cuisine for the weekend preceding and Monday of V-Day. $55 per person, with a complimentary champagne toast for each guest.
• Pura Vida (Poncey Highlands - 656 North Highland Ave.) - Mon., Feb. 14: Valentine’s Package at Pura Vida includes a selection of six Latin classic and new fusion tapas, plus one dessert and one bottle of wine to share. $85 per couple, non-inclusive.
• Rathbun's (Inman Park - 112 Krog Street.) - Sat., Feb 12 and Mon., Feb 14: The inimitable Atlanta darling Kevin Rathbun will be serving a special Valentine's Day menu on these two days at Rathbun's. Kevin Rathbun Steak as well as Krog Bar will be serving the regular menu plus specials. $85, non-inclusive.
• The SHED at Glenwood (Grant Park - 475 Bill Kennedy Way) - Mon., Feb. 14: Valentine's Day three-course prix-fixe menu at this "new American bistro." $45 per person.
• Tap (Midtown - 1180 Peachtree St.) - Sun., Feb 13: Anti-Valentine's Day. $5 “drink your heart out” cocktails and speed dating at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
