Voting for the 2011 Atlanta Downtown Design Excellence Awards is now open! This award honors downtown Atlanta businesses for their design innovations undertaken in the past year. You can vote here. The winners will be announced on Nov 3rd at Downtown Development Day. We hope you vote for our friends at Hill Street Tavern and Caramba Cafe.
We have watched as these two fantastic local businesses have moved into downtown Atlanta, built beautiful spaces within thePencil Factory Flats & Shops, and begun to thrive. They provide wonderful food and beverages to the city's intown residents, but, more than that, they provide a sense of community. Both places are incredibly welcoming, with highly visible owners and enthusiastic staff. We love them, just see our previous posts on Hill Street Tavern and Caramba Cafe.
Regardless of who ends up taking home the prize, we wish y'all the best of luck, and we can't wait to see who wins in November!
