We are Thankful for Atlanta!
I don’t know what happens at your house for Thanksgiving of course, but at my house, in addition to consuming ridiculous quantities of turkey and assorted sides, we usually participate in a nice, albeit somewhat corny, session of going around the table and stating what we are thankful for. Some people take it seriously, others are jokers, but either way, it’s a nice way to reflect on the people, events and even things we appreciate.
We at ATLIntownLiving have so much to be thankful for as we reflect on the past year and the year to come. Here are some of the top things that came to mind - It’s an exciting time in Atlanta!
- The opening of Historic Fourth Ward Park– If you haven’t been, you really must check it out.
- New life coming to the former City Hall East – Ponce City Market!
- BeltLine progress – it’s going to shape Atlanta's future. (And more to come, but if you are a runner, sign up for the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10K on December 3.)
- The continued success of street food in Atlanta
- Piedmont Park– always on the list!
- The welcoming smile we always receive when visiting Caramba Café and Marlee’s Coffee & Tea House in the Pencil Factory Flats and Shops
- 24 hours of holiday music beginning Thanksgiving Day on B98.5 FM. Ok, not really specific to Atlanta so much, but come on, you know you love it.
Happy Thanksgiving!
